May have seen many sites in Japanese have a box in the upper left corner that sometimes appears. Ninja Tools is a website that offers various services and scripts. The sites features are ads for revenue, hit counters, various traffic analysis, web hosting (free with adverts or payed), domains, mail forms, blogs (hosted by them pretty much) and question forms. Podcasting tools, users currently online, and clocks are other tools available that they’re working on. To top it off, they even have a 4 panel comic. Only issue is how the site and services tend to try to keep you there.
Blogs from the guest’s view are up there with Wordpress with skins and scripts and all. Many abstract and anime themes. The hit counter may link back to the Ninja Tools site, but mouse hover shows hit that day
and the day before. Ad service has you earning Ninja Points for clicks. Clearly very professional.
Ninja Tools does have you log in for much of its services and there isn’t any English support. They are however looking for more staff. Web designers, programmers, and user
support wanted.

Bokurano
The 24 episode adaptation and 8 volume manga make the series Bokurano. The director of the anime didn’t like the ending to the manga, so he was given permission to change it as long as it wasn’t magical. This mecha is more a drama about humanity more than anything. Each kid dies after they pilot the mystery mech that they use to fight the invading mechs. With each death, one of the lights on the mech goes out. The ending parts that reveal why they’re fighting is truely sad. Don’t Wiki it.
Oh! Edo Rocket
Character have blue outlines, the story is about sending a girl to the moon, there are many exaggerated characters, and it’s all based on a play. Nobody watched it.
Ookiku FuriKabutte
Baseball anime is an instant hit. Two boys do very well in baseball in middle school. However they move on to high school where they have a new manager of the team. Someone they’re not already close to. Friends, gaining confidence, and becoming worthy.
Doujin Work
An anime based on a manga about getting a girl into the doujin world. Conventions, learning to draw such manga, and…she tends to be the loud character.
Other good mentions would be Tales of Symphonia, Potemayo, and perhaps Ghost Hound.

There are a lot of manga that can easily be adapted to an anime. Some either didn’t get enough attention or hit too few people in who they’d attract. This list isn’t in any order and isn’t meant to convicence any big company, but enjoy. One thing common with a few of them, though, is the strong focus on style.
Cloth Road
Anime and manga lack change of clothing of the characters, so why not have an anime that features fashion? The author of the manga, Hideyuki Kurata, already had Read or Die adapted. Clearly worthy.
Yozakura Quartet
Unique character designs and a small gang of super youth in charge. Local politics and super powers would make for a good solid season.
Moon Boy
So the manhwa stopped after a few volumes (out of over 5 volumes) after the company Yen Press took over Ice Kunion. With Ice Kunion site down and the “Coming Soon…” redirect on the Yen Press site, one can only hope they keep Moon Boy licensed for their mid 2008 debut. Moon Boy has diverse character art, heavily styled character outfits, and great art inserts in each volume. Bunny people and demon like foxes wage a secret war on Earth. One of the main characters is obessed with Yu-Gi-Oh and how they got away with Upper Deck Entertainment not wanting money from them is unknown…
Rise R to the Second Power
The manga had an anime promo so it could have easily been done. Young pizza boy is sent to an odd world with a powerful girl. It worked for Elemental Gelade, but the only thing stopping it is it’s age.
Yotsuba&!
The fanbase for Yotsuba&! is still strong, just have to re-gather the production staff of the Azumanga Daioh anime.

So there isn’t much ground breaking news lately and we have not been showing much lately either. With so much to do and so little time, Anime Gerad will get back to full steam next anime season. Especially with the announcement of Soul Eater having an anime adaptation this spring. There’s quite a few volumes out and still in Monthly Shonen Gangan.
Soul Eater is of a school where demons and humans search and fight for a witch soul and 99 human souls. From that, they can turn into a Death Scythe (a full shinigami). Characters are pretty much set into teams. The main gang has a demon boy that’s actually a scythe and the girls have to train him. That sorta leads to a lot of humor and a little fan service.
Expect full coverage here this spring. The anime shares the Fullmetal Alchemist’s character designer Yoshiyuki Ito. Director Takuya Igarashi. The official Soul Eater site announced that the anime will air twice, once in the evening and the second time late night. Second showing having special parts not seen earlier. Both the anime and manga my become licensed later with its style in both presentation and characters.

In the CurrentAir Anime area of the forum, there’s a new area for anything Gainax related. Should come of use with Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann licensed and the new Rebuild of Evangelion movies. Also, Sky Girls has its own gallery after the gallery as a whole was cleaned up a bit. Perhaps soon we can start up gallery contests with prizes.

Anime Gerad’s main pages will soon match the rest of the forum. Still working out a minor bug with the theme on the forum, though. Galleries for Sky Girls, Cloth Road, Yozakura Quartet, and cats. Yes, cats. There will be a series of interviews added of various anime bloggers around the net as well.
