ADV has issues. They’ve dropped some rather great manga. R2 and Gamerz Heaven were great choices for them to publish, though true they aren’t that known. Only volume one of Rise R to the Second Power ( R2 ) and just the couple first volumes of Gamerz Heaven. Makes one wonder if the same will happen to Lagoon Engine Einsatz. Another publisher would have to take over and it may not have the nice square shape that volume 1 had. The art to R2 is nice, though a bit too clean. R2 is also pretty rare to find as you won’t find this in more bookstores and likely a lot of online stores. You’d have to order it or Ebay it. It’s technically out of print. There is the site ( EvalPowar ) that did scanlations for it, but their scan group is pretty much dead. The site remains and you can direct download it from them, since all their torrents have also died. I’ll go chapter by chapter later this week of the first volume and write about such. Perhaps at a much later time the artbook ( R3 R:Cubism ) could be scanlated by us.

Two new CurrentAir Anime sub-forums have been added. Ghost Hound and Gundam 00. About a month before they are going to be aired. That’ll give it a head start.

There will be several things fixed later on. Links, images, and the forum’s random downtime. This part of the site and gallery will also be updated, which should bring new features. After such, the Character Adoptions will return and perhaps new things to discuss.

There may come a point in time when Yukiru Sugisaki’s Lagoon Engine won’t be release outside of Japan. Problems with Kadokawa Shoten and paperwork is what’s getting in the way basically. Tokyopop may just drop the series if it keeps up. Lagoon Engine is about six volumes from what I know and it’s doubtful is it’s still being published in Japan’s Asuka. The Jen and Yen Ragun may never hit the rest of the world. For a while volume 4 was going to be published early this year, but it seems won’t be till early or mid 2008. Waiting isn’t fun. Perhaps the covers of the Tokyopop releases will look differen from before, as the originals had white and a slightly different look.

Image gallery is now up. It was offline due to a few problems. The user blogs will be returned as well. Sorry for the inconvenience. Expect new gallery sections soon, mostly in the Anime Series parts. Gilgamesh being one of them. If you have any ideas for the gallery, feel free to make requests. We can also stream anime.

Decided AG will stand for Anime Gerad. So welcome to AG. The forum index has been improved and here is a new forum for DNAngel and Lagoon Engine chat, called Yukiru Sugisaki Shrine. Please report any links in posts that are no longer working and any other bugs that you may, but won’t likely find.

I really hope this site will become successful. Expect bigger things this time around. It may seem a lot like the old forum, but there will be contests, a scanlation group, and a really huge image gallery. Gerad doesn’t have much meaning, so that’ll likely answer your first question. The forum will be set up slightly differently as well. Enjoy and thanks for your support. Hope we live up to your expectations.
